This day is almost two years in the making. Since July 2017 I've been:

• Speaking with factories around the world
• Sourcing a variety of fabric from the US, Canada, Vietnam, and Italy
• Testing prototypes of various designs
• Asking people and polling friends over designs and prints

And here we are, five items manufactured in the US with American and Italian fabric in eight colors. 10 sizes, UPF 50 sun protection, all made from recycled plastics. 

I didn't set out to make clothing, and I never saw my life going this way. It wasn't until I 'sized out' of the 'normal' sizes and couldn't find anything that wasn't baggy and solid colored that I realized how many women are being ignored. 

This is for you, woman wondering if you can surf and afraid to because up until now no one made anything in your size. This is for you, wall flowers in yoga class who haven't had options other than black or navy in leggings until now. This is for you, dedicated gym goer who just wants some pockets. This is for you, flower child who wants as much of their life to be as eco-friendly as possible. This is for you, sleep-deprived mother who wants a little belly compression confidence after bringing a sweet soul into this world. This is for you, skin cancer survivor who needs sun protection while enjoying being outside. This is for you, all my sisters who doubt yourself but should know that you're fantastic and amazing in all sorts of ways you can't see.
